We’re pretty excited about our VP of Lending and Business Development, Daryl Salter participating in the Dancing Stars of South Georgia! (In case you haven’t heard!) So excited, a few of us formed a dance line to help Daryl out in the competition. What do you think? Do you recognize any faces?

Quote of the Day

by

In case you haven’t heard, we are thrilled to be an official drop-off location for Toys for Tots! Collection boxes are located at each of our branches and will be picked up the week of December 3, 2012. Please help us share the joy of Christmas with less fortunate children by donating a new, unwrapped toy today!

Shamone K. recognized how well our members and employees help people in the community. It’s people like Shamone that makes our participation with Toys for Tots so successful and possible.

Thanks, Shamone!

We Support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

by

DOCO Credit Union is a faithful supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Credit Unions for Kids program. In 2011, DOCO contributed $2,942.37 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. When a donation is given, it stays in the community ensuring that every dollar helps local kids.

You can help DOCO support your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital throughout the year by participating in our in-branch fundraisers such as purchasing Miracle Balloons or placing donations in our collection canisters, such as the re-purposed incubator seen below.

So far in 2012, DOCO has raised over $3,000 thanks to our members and employees!

Above is a photo of our PR Director, Becky Belcher presenting a check for $3,218.54 to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the Albany Mall.

Are you a supporter of a local charity? If so, which one and how do you show your support?
